This week’s service traced God’s call from Noah’s descendants—including Abram (later Abraham)—through a journey of abandonment, migration, and relational risk. After the chaos of the flood and humanity's scattering across the earth, God chose to enter into a relationship with one family, calling them to leave behind familiar identities and home to become wanderers in pursuit of a new destiny. The service explored how this call mirrors our own: trusting God’s presence amid uncertainty, embracing diversity as a blessing, and committing to love boldly in communities that challenge us.

- Abandonment and Trust: Abram’s call came when his world collapsed—his homeland, family ties, and security vanished. How might you respond if God called you to leave behind what feels like everything? What would it look like to trust that God’s presence is with you even in the unknown?
- Wandering as a Blessing: The sermon framed Abram’s journey as an invitation to learn from others and be open to new identities. How can you intentionally seek connection with people who are different from you this week? What might you discover about your own faith or worldview through these relationships?
- Relational Risks in Community: Abram’s family had to abandon their old lives to follow God, just as we’re called to break down walls between us and others. Where do you see opportunities—or fears—to enter into conversations with those who challenge your assumptions? How can prayer help you navigate these risks with courage?
