Our Service today focused on the profound hope found in Jesus’ resurrection. We explored the varied responses to that miraculous event – Mary's grief-filled encounter, Peter’s haste, and the “beloved disciple’s” unique perspective - all highlighting how even amidst trauma and doubt, Christ meets us where we are. Ultimately, we reaffirmed that despite the violence of the world, death does not have the final word; resurrection offers a powerful promise of new life and enduring hope.
Reflection Questions for this week:
- Where in your own life do you feel grief or trauma hindering your ability to recognize moments of joy and renewal?
- Consider Peter and Mary – which response to challenging circumstances resonates most with you, and why?
- How can we actively seek out and embody the spirit of resurrection within our community and beyond, even when faced with difficult realities?
