Ecclesiastes 3:1-13
A Rhythm of Rest

This week’s service reflected on the sacredness of rest, drawing wisdom from nature, scripture, and our own experiences. We explored how our bodies, communities, and even institutions benefit when we pause to breathe—whether it’s through the rhythms of trees or the intentional shift in our community’s schedule, like moving away from the chaotic flea market to more sustainable gatherings. The service challenged us to notice God’s presence in every season, inviting us to journal and reflect on how this awareness can shape our future actions/

Reflection activities:

  1. Take some time this week to reflect on how you see God at work in your life, at Arnolia, and in your community.
  2. Create a "healthy rhythm chart" where participants map out their weekly activities, identifying times for work, play, and rest that take place each day of the week. Circle sections of time when you most like to rest. How could you make space for rest in your day-to-day life?
