Prelude How Great Is Our God Rejuvenate
Call to Worship (Breakthrough Series)
LEADER: God calls us to rest, not only for ourselves but for all people and all creation.
ALL: We come to embrace this gift of rest, knowing it is meant for every person,
every creature, and the earth itself.
LEADER: In this time of worship, we pause to reflect on the ways we may have denied
others their rest.
ALL: We come seeking balance, equity, and justice in how we live and rest together.
LEADER: Let us receive the gift of God's love, freely given to all, without exception.
ALL: We come to be restored, and to offer restoration to all.
Opening Prayer (Breakthrough Series)
ALL: Gracious God, You have created rest as a gift for all of Your creation, yet we often forget to share that gift with others. Open our hearts and minds to see where we have neglected the rest of our neighbors. Help us to restore balance and equity so that everyone can experience renewal in You. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Prayers of the People
Leader: God of Rest, ALL: hear our prayer.
The Lord’s Prayer (Spoken)
All: Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever.

*Prayer of Dedication (Breakthrough Series)
ALL: God of justice and renewal, as we offer these gifts, use them to break down the barriers that prevent others from finding rest. May our offerings bring balance, equity, and the fullness of Your love to every corner of our community. Amen.

*Closing Song Let There Be Peace on Earth UMH 431
Let there be peace on earth,
and let it begin with me;
let there be peace on earth,
the peace that was
meant to be.
With God our creator,
children all are we.
Let us walk
with each other
in perfect harmony.
Let peace begin with me;
let this be
the moment now.
With every step I take,
let this be
my solemn vow:
to take each moment
and live each moment
in peace eternally.
Let there be peace on earth,
and let it begin with me.
